If you are selling or renting a home or commercial premises in Spain, you need an energy performance certificate. We visit the property, calculate its rating, give you the signed certificate and register it with your regional government.

  • Access to the property on the day of the visit

FAQ

How long is it valid?

Ten years. If the rating is G, it is valid for five years.

What happens if I don’t have one?

You cannot legally sell, rent or advertise the property, and you may be fined.

How long does it take?

We visit within a few days and deliver the certificate shortly afterwards. Registration times depend on each region.

Can I improve my property’s rating?

Yes. Along with the certificate we tell you which improvements (windows, insulation, heat pump, solar panels…) raise the rating and what they cost.
